The album contains musical tracks from the game composed by Akira
Yamaoka. The soundtrack was released in Japan on July 16, 2003 with a price of 2,548 Yen, bearing the catalog number
KOLA-038. A version of the soundtrack was also packaged with the Silent Hill 3 game in North America. The version is
identical to Silent Hill 3 Original Soundtracks except that it excludes track #26.
It was also the first Silent Hill soundtrack to introduced Vocals
in the songs. Performed by Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn (Better known as 'Major Motoko' in the english version of the Ghost In The
Shell series), and Joe Romersa who is a song writer, multi-instrumentalist, producer and vocalist. He is also known as doing
Anime Voices in Akira, Ghost In The Shell, Blood: The Last Vampire, Cowboy Bebop And Many More.
